Oh I am back

I was a lil busy this past month. I was blessed to be featured by Raw Artists: San Antonio, as the Makeup Artist Showcase for the month of June which led to me going completely insane planning this in May/June.

I had the best team ever! I am going to tell more about this awesome day in the next week. I have a touch of sunburn from the beach today, and I want more photos that include my entire team.

Oh hey I am back

I had a fun filled weekend which means I did not take a picture of outfit 9 yikes but just invision it here with this... well i couldnt find a picture of it and its already in the wash..
On to the fun part...

We went and watched a football game! We finially got an arena team that they promote games for, so instead of viva fiesta we viva football-d instead. Even more awesome is my older brother let us take Maz. It was his first big sporting event aside from nieces games.

He sat the majority of the game in Mine or Jakes lap and he surely did eat a huge bag of popcorn all by himself. As well as a sprite a lemonade half of jakes water...... Oh and he loved him some cheerleader watching.  I was honestly a little nervous he is four and I wasnt too sure how well he was going to be able to stand sitting there for 2.5 hours. Pft what do I know he loved it.

So now hopefully we will get to steal him for the next game now that we know he likes it and now that he knows what color he is supposed to root for!

Just another Manic Monday Day 5

The best part of the day today was logging off for the night and walking out the door. Not that anything bad happened today, I just wasnt feeling it all. I came home and told jake I was going to cook and I would be more pleasant after I cooked dinner. It was worth the additional 45 mins of crankyness I needed those potatoes au gratin. 

Is it pay day yet? I want new shoes.... 

I want to talk about something. I have been called a bimbo yeah someone actually used the word bimbo 3x's this week because I blog about clothing and makeup. I am a makeup artist and I have the pleasure of working with a few wonderful women who support me whole heartedly and shows genuine interest in what I do. I also am loosing weight and I happen to like to window shop, and since my happy rear-end is glued to an office chair yes on my break I like to online window shop.  So here is a lil bit about me I love to cook I spend majority of my evenings reading about cooking or cooking. I am active in charities on a local and national level. I read on average 4 books a month that arent cook books and I can hold my own in a conversation and if ever the convo goes over my head I am smart enough to ask for a quick breakdown so I can jump on board again.

sometimes its not about sacrafice.

I still stand by that in this recession there are few things I will not give up and one will be nail polish. Its my selfish thing.  It doesnt feel like a job when I sit down and do my nails. I dont have to think about a single thing. This past vacation has been awesome I have been sitting down when ever the mood strikes me and have been working on little designs here and there. Its such a breather as work with company x and then our lil business really pick up at the end of the school year.

Date night was last night and it was hilarious as we stayed in ate tacos and played little big planet for three hours yelling at each other blowing each other up and laughing non stop. It has been something we havent done in ages and ages, it was like we werent the married couple who is typically in a fun rut but more like boyfriend and girlfriend being super goofy.

STOP THE PRESSES... so while we are on vacation we have been eating our way across town in new resturants that we have never been to. Uh hello heaven, sexy,party in my mouth food. I swear we were on our way to five guys when I looked over read the sign Urban Taco Mondern Mexican Taqueria and told jake "omg what if they are ruining mexican food" and jake wanted to see for himself. I ate my words. Okay so for one its super pretty and I hate eating at places that are not like kept clean or people dont take pride in to make it look semi decent. The menu was a little intimidating for a second, I had to break out the spainish that I use uh pretty often to read it.  I had a quesadilla "De Bistek- arrachera steak, roasted red onions, roasted tomatoes, spinach, pico de gallo, queso fresco & crema" omgsbj! I am not a food blogger so I dont know the appropriate words to describe this other than go go go go go get some.
