a haul and self annoyance

I survived the adventure of my parents anniversary party and it was awesome. I am really really glad I hired a photographer to come out even if wasnt anything extraordinarily fancy, it was my family being goofy and being together.

I went to walgreens today and got some summer polishes, for base colors and nail art.

sinful colors:pink, savage, irish green, neon melon

So I threw a base of the french white down and then painted my nails with the pink and the neon melon. it lasted 10 minutes my nails were so awesomely bright it hurt my eyes so bad. So i omited the white base and just used the neon melon and while its still really bright its without hurting my eyes.

I am pissed with myself I used to love blogging and all of a sudden I am making this a chore for me. I freak out if I dont have a post done, or a picture taken and thats not what this is for this is for me to be goofy and girly with others on. I am not a professional blogger I dont want to be one. I am a 27 year old married woman who likes nail polish and cooking way to much and copes with OCD.

on another note I am hungry as hell

DAY 3: Im a wheel watcher

I have had the words to that damn commercial in my head for a week now. I have no idea why but I am pretty sure I almost made Julie pee her pants as she watched me to do my jigg while I sang the song to her. Our job gets way to serious sometimes and a song and dance was just needed.

I still stand by that in this recession there are few things I will not give up and one will be nail polish. Its my selfish thing.  It doesnt feel like a job when I sit down and do my nails. I dont have to think about a single thing. This past vacation has been awesome I have been sitting down when ever the mood strikes me and have been working on little designs here and there. Its such a breather as work with company x and then our lil business really pick up at the end of the school year.

Date night was last night and it was hilarious as we stayed in ate tacos and played little big planet for three hours yelling at each other blowing each other up and laughing non stop. It has been something we havent done in ages and ages, it was like we werent the married couple who is typically in a fun rut but more like boyfriend and girlfriend being super goofy.

STOP THE PRESSES... so while we are on vacation we have been eating our way across town in new resturants that we have never been to. Uh hello heaven, sexy,party in my mouth food. I swear we were on our way to five guys when I looked over read the sign Urban Taco Mondern Mexican Taqueria and told jake "omg what if they are ruining mexican food" and jake wanted to see for himself. I ate my words. Okay so for one its super pretty and I hate eating at places that are not like kept clean or people dont take pride in to make it look semi decent. The menu was a little intimidating for a second, I had to break out the spainish that I use uh pretty often to read it.  I had a quesadilla "De Bistek- arrachera steak, roasted red onions, roasted tomatoes, spinach, pico de gallo, queso fresco & crema" omgsbj! I am not a food blogger so I dont know the appropriate words to describe this other than go go go go go get some.

this is going to be kinda ostentatious

I have been in the shittiest moods ever, and I hadnt been able to snap out of it. When I get in my mood or sad or angry or in any means feeling negative I turn to stuff that makes me genuinely smile and that is things fashion and beauty related.  So if you guys are interested here I go. As previous a post have described I have a slight attraction to pretty nail polish I love me some nail polish. I change my nail color on my fingers about every other day, and my toes about every week. It just makes me so super happy to come home and do my nails. The family that owns the nail supply store knows be by name now, kinda sad lol. I also love reading and watching shopping hauls. It can be rather inspirational, I can see what other people think of a product before me and they are just fun so I present to you my nail polish haul de jour.

Its a bit much I know but I love it oh it makes me happy putting them in the drawer stored neatly with all my nail things.  Going to the drawer to pick out the one I am wearing that day.... makes my day.
